Unique Vision and Style

Hello, my name is Victoria Lova and I will be your photographer.  I take great pride in my work and I work for my clients very hard providing them not only with exceptional pictures, but also with the comfort and peace of mind during the actual photoshoot.  I will stay with you before, during and after the photo session to make sure that all your questions are answered and you are comfortable and satisfied with your experience.  Please, read the following paragraphs, they will explain in details your photoshooting journey.  If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will get back you with all the answers.

On or before the day of the shoot we will discuss in details what do you expect from the session.  If your agent/manager have any suggestions, I would love to hear from them either by phone or via e-mail.

The night before the shoot you’ll set aside half of your wardrobe, drink plenty of water and get a good night sleep.

On the day of the shoot you’ll be well rested and well hydrated.   If you are not a morning person, never schedule a morning session with a photographer.  You have to be at least 3-4 hours awake before the session.

Always bring more wardrobe options than you think makes sense, because we will experiment with color and make final decisions when you arrive. I encourage you to steer away from wild, distracting patterns, but don’t shy away from solid colors…especially ones that bring out your eyes. Also, simple blacks and whites are definitely OK, but bring things to layer, too.  If you think you need any suggestions, I would be more than happy to assist.

If you need a make-up artist I’ll call in one of my favorite pros. You can also bring your own make-up artist.  The make up/hair arrangement should be a must for a professional photoshoot.  Please, take it under the serious consideration.

We will meet at one location and then drive, if necessary, to places that I know have very good lighting. We can also experiment with new locations.  If you have a spot in mind, please let me know in advance and I will consider it.  We will spend about 1.5 to 3 hours together working on your shots.

Why don’t you shoot in a studio?

Couple of reasons

1) The industry is truly leaning towards more naturalistic headshots as opposed to the very posed, flat, studio portraits.

2) I personally love natural lighting, for it gives more flexibility and spontaneity to the pictures.

I will have your CD ready the next business day (Mon-Sat).  We'll arrange for the pick up.

You'll have an immediate access to your all the shots that have been taken the day before.  Please, don't  rush and look at them carefully.  It's always good to have someone else to look at them with you and help you pick what you think would be your best representation.  I always make myself available for my clients if they would like my suggestions.

Pick your top 3-5 photos and I’ll retouch them for free. You will just have o let me know the number of the pictures you likes and I will retouch them and then copy them for you on a new CD.  That will take 2-3 business days.  Then, you will go to the professional print shop and print them out.

Send your headshots out and get noticed!  Many of my clients have become successful models and many actors and dancers booked a lot of auditions.

If you are happy with my work, I would really appreciate you sending business my way!

Thank you for reading all my directions and I am looking forward to working with you very soon!
